About

St. Paul’s College has made efforts to have a sufficiently stocked library. Local (Individual) Donors have been handy, though often above the level of our students. With parents’ support we have quite enough text books for class use. But books for student’s use are perishables that require constant renewal. It is also our hope that we can have an e-library with the provision of some computers and more stable internet. If we achieved that we would be making sure steps towards sufficiency.

Our school library is vital, multi-functional hub for academic research, independent study, and reading for pleasure, ideally designed to hold at least 10% of the student population. Modern libraries provide a blend of print, digital, and media resources, including e-books, computers for research, and dedicated spaces for collaboration. Us as St. Paul's College Mbale we are looking forward to soon.

• Design & Space: Effective library with flexible environment for quiet study, group work, and soft seating. It is welcoming, well-lit, and "safe space" or sanctuary within the school.
• Resources: Collections are diverse, covering a range of subjects, and, according to Bookspace and the New Lower Seconday School Curriculum.
• Staffing: Dedicated library staff members are in place for helping students and teachers and also ensuring the library is well organized with latest materials.
